THIS IS JUST GREAT!
Not along ago I was watching TV and heard some fast facts about the continent, Africa. Apparently, Africa's population statistics show that, more than 50% of the continent's population is made up of youth. That hit me hard on the face, after the article I last posted, having government positions occupied by tired old men and women leading who? The youth?
That's almost like an insult to our young generation.
Look at this, we live in a more ''digitalised'' world, something that the youth are so excellent in, digital technology.
The whole world has gone digital, no offense but, the youth are the right people if not perfect to take over this world, they are the once who master this digital world, look at the latest inventions by the youth using the latest technology, solar powered water pump in the Limpopo province, South Africa, it provides water for more than 20 households, imagine if the inventor was president, or even minister in the water department. We wouldn't be facing the issues that arised in Cape Town earlier this year.
There are many examples I could give however, it is pointless if we are still not considering putting the youth in leadership positions. Yes, we have young CEO's, managers, lawyers and others however, without a young, fresh, and versatile president none of the other youth will be motivated to stand for their country. I believe that, when a country is led by the youth, this will motivate others to work harder, and by so doing there will be movement in the country, the movement will make the country active and lively, when this happens, we have a strong and healthy economy, socioeconomic issues will be easily targeted and conquered.
