A BLIND EYE ON REAL ISSUES

firstly I'd like to say hi. My last post was over a year ago, the thing is, I was occupied and a bit disorganized, also learning my way around the blogging game. well, I am back now and ready to talk.

OK OK, let's focus on the topic. Recently we heard Mantsoe's case come to a close, with many issues rising around it, such as, "he gets 32 years! but Oscar only got 13 years", "he is black, that's why", and on and on. Saw where the problem was?
You didn't, we are more focused "land expropriation", "white superiority over black inferiority", "VAT too high", "free education", etc.
I'm not saying the above mentioned are not problems we ought to tackle, No. However, while we are too busy focused on them, we are losing sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters to the very people they think/ thought will protect them and love them through thick and thin. Just after Mantsoe's sentencing, a boy(not worthy to be called man that's why) kills his "girlfriend" at MUT (Mangosuthu University of Technology), then he appears in court like one Hollywood star flashing smiles at the camera and showing no sign of remorse, like a caveman who just caught game meat for his household.

Femicide is now in South Africa, business of the day and it seems like we don't care. We don't care that we (South Africa) are among the top ten countries with high rate of murder. Just watch out that we don't win the land only to turn it into graveyards for the women of our country. Let's stand together and fight for the women of our country, continent.
