GRADUATES VS DROPOUTS

For many years people had argued about successful people, either they are graduates or simply, dropouts. What do you think? Please guys, just spend few Mb's of your data and comment on this before I write you a full article that will, or may change your perception on the issue. just hit comment and pour out your thoughts on the matter.

SECTION 25

Section 25 of Chapter 2, of the the constitution of the Republic  of South Africa, 1996, which is the current constitution is what recently is revisited in our books of the constitution of South Africa. Wow! I always had the constitution of the Republic of South Africa at hand, and yes, I read it a number of times in order to understand the constitution of South Africa. But, frankly, I never read section 25, at least until now that the motion of "land expropriation" has been raised in the Parliament of South Africa and passed. Now, everyone in the country, I mean everyone, even your post apartheid born generation are shouting and chanting, "bring back our land!" I'd like to take you for a visit through section 25 of the constitution of South Africa and let you be judge, and cogitate thoroughly on what needs to be amended in this section of the constitution. it reads; " Property 25   (1) No one may be deprived of property in terms of law of general a...

ARE WE FIGHTING A GOOD FIGHT?

It seems like for every step forward we take ten more steps backwards, all countries have problems to deal with each and every day, it is no different with South Africa as well. 1. How many unemployed people are there in South Africa? 2. How many people in South Africa are now not sure what will be their meal tonight? Not because there's plenty to choose from but, simply because the cupboards are empty, they did not even have breakfast. 3. How many South Africans do not have a place of their own to call home? Because they've been forever on some 'waiting list' at the housing department. 4. How many learners are absent from school because there are no sanitary pads at home, and no one can afford to buy them some at home? 5. How many learners are absent from school because their parent, grandparent, guardian are sick and they have to collect medication for them from the clinic? 6. How many people are dead due to lack of police services in their areas? 7. How many ...

THIS IS JUST GREAT!

Not along ago I was watching TV and heard some fast facts about the continent, Africa. Apparently, Africa's population statistics show that, more than 50% of the continent's population is made up of youth. That hit me hard on the face, after the article I last posted, having government positions occupied by tired old men and women leading who? The youth? That's almost like an insult to our young generation. Look at this, we live in a more ''digitalised'' world, something that the youth are so excellent in, digital technology. The whole world has gone digital, no offense but, the youth are the right people if not perfect to take over this world, they are the once who master this digital world, look at the latest inventions by the youth using the latest technology, solar powered water pump in the Limpopo province, South Africa, it provides water for more than 20 households, imagine if the inventor was president, or even minister in the water department. STRUGGLE HEROES, FOR WHAT? FOR WHO? AND WHY?

I'll only speak looking at my current domicile country and continent, that is. South Africa and Africa. For many years Africa was just one large mass of land not explored except only by the man who lived in it his whole life, the man who when was first seen, had no name, category or even class. He was studied for a number of years and he was found unique, well, only useful to work in the garden, underground the mines, in the agricultural fields, industrial areas and other places of hard labor. The African man could withstand many and harsh weather conditions, making him a great tool of work for the non-African who took him away from Africa. A lot happened to the African man, cruel and worse, but, the African man conquered it all. Making it back home, some where publicly courageous in confronting what was their "enemy", and for that, other fellow Africans honored by placing them as leaders to speak out our lamentations on our behalf, then the generations coming later sa...

Johannesburg

A number people, including myself always believed that the slang "city of gold" for Johannesburg, meant going to Johannesburg would end some of our problems, especially financial problems and food insecurity. But, on arrival we find a different scene from the anticipated. I recently learned that, Johannesburg it is no different from our so called "rural towns", in fact it is sometimes in certain cases even worse! The life you want, you can get anywhere in the world, it really depends on who you are, How do you approach your problems. I have seen the poor in Johannesburg, I have seen the homeless in Johannesburg, crime at it's highest. All I am saying is, Johannesburg is a great city, a cruel city however, Johannesburg is made by people, and people are people.

if not...

if not now then when? if not you then who? Two questions that I have recently adopted for myself, and also urge the youth of South Africa and Africa as a whole to adopt. There are many socio-economic issues we encounter daily in our communities and still one big problem we encounter above all is, people waiting on the government and other people to act for us or on our behalf. My friend let me tel you this, as long as no one bathes you(unless of course you are one with special needs due to health purposes), urinates, poops, breathes, eats or talks for you then, no one will stand for your financial well-being, or the improvement of your life. There are things that other people or the government can do for us however, there will always be things that need yourself to stand up. Remember... #ifNotYou_thenWho?                      #ifNotNow_thenWhen?

A BLIND EYE ON REAL ISSUES

firstly I'd like to say hi. My last post was over a year ago, the thing is, I was occupied and a bit disorganized, also learning my way around the blogging game. well, I am back now and ready to talk. OK OK, let's focus on the topic. Recently we heard Mantsoe's case come to a close, with many issues rising around it, such as, "he gets 32 years! but Oscar only got 13 years", "he is black, that's why", and on and on. Saw where the problem was? You didn't, we are more focused "land expropriation", "white superiority over black inferiority", "VAT too high", "free education", etc. I'm not saying the above mentioned are not problems we ought to tackle, No. However, while we are too busy focused on them, we are losing sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters to the very people they think/ thought will protect them and love them through thick and thin. Just after Mantsoe's sentencing, a boy(not ...
