UNSAFE NOW THAN EVER
There was a time where people felt unsafe to live in the apartheid Republic of South Africa, because the hatred of one to another could be seen, felt well, even tasted. "Whites" knew their place, so did "Blacks", Indians, "Colored", Asians and other population groups, all knew their exact place among one another.
Something happened, something that even the Democratic Republic of South Africa fails to resolve. GREED!
Greed was the driving force to many wars that took place in the land of South Africa. Europeans against the British. We also saw the rise of a group of people who were later to dominate the country of South Africa and even Snatch it away from colonizers, making it an independent state in 1930's or 40's , the Afrikaans. Yes, many are already pointing their knives and guns at me for saying that the Afrikaans cut colonization and are the ones who made the country independent back in the 1940's, hear me well, they made South Africa an independent state because they felt home here as some of their ancestors partially have roots here(South Africa)
How did they make the country independent, first cutting off the currency of the colonizer, the British pound and introducing the ZAR(South African Rand), the rest go to your history books. Apartheid was implemented, we saw man killing man simply because one is "white" and the other "black". It was no crime for "white" man to kill "black" man in the name of "self-defense". Rather an even greater crime if the act was vice versa, as they would say it was an act of "overthrowing" the government.
Today it is even worse, black man kills black man in the name of "self-defense" from being robbed by another black man, or black man kills another black man for a seat in parliament or the Union Buildings in Pretoria, oh! Sorry, It it is now Tshwane and not Pretoria. Black man now kills another for a tender from the government, now you die simply because you worked hard and became rich, wealthy, or whatever you may say you are and decided to relocate from crime infested areas for the safety of your family. Today your death by another it is not due to your skin color however, the weight of your pockets and bank balance.
